An eye for fabric
The mother
She has bought, worn and gifted sarees all her life, and can tell a good weave with her fingertips. She chooses every fabric and every ready piece in the collection.
Our story
U and A began with the two of us: one who has chosen sarees by touch for decades, and one who grew up borrowing them. We pick every piece ourselves and stitch custom orders in our own studio.

An eye for fabric
She has bought, worn and gifted sarees all her life, and can tell a good weave with her fingertips. She chooses every fabric and every ready piece in the collection.
An eye for fit
She grew up borrowing from that wardrobe and altering it to suit her. She looks after custom orders, from the first measurement to the final fitting.
More than outfits, a closer you.
What we care about
We pick every piece ourselves, by touch, the way sarees have always been chosen.
Kasavu, silk, chikankari and handloom: clothes you will still reach for in ten years.
A small boutique run by two women, and made for the women who wear it.
Every parcel is packed by hand and goes out with a handwritten note.

In every parcel
Each order is folded and packed by hand, with a handwritten note from us. The thank-you card is made from recycled paper with tulsi seeds pressed into it. Put it in a pot of soil, keep it in indirect sunlight, water it gently, and watch it grow.
With love, U & A
